How to distribute your content :

There are many places you can display your Browsebase video and different mediums have different requirements. Browsebase videos are designed to work across all major platforms, and are produced to strict broadcast television standards ensuring the highest quality. You can use the original file, or one of the several versions supplied from your Browsebase download email that are optimised for specific platforms. Recommendations are listed below, but if you have trouble first consult the platform that you are using, or please get in touch with us for assistance.

Facebook

A cover video is a prime piece of real estate on your business page and your Browsebase video is optimised for Facebook! Upload is easy, but be sure to use the SD 540p file for best results. Click on the Facebook Cover Photo/Video icon or go to your settings to upload. Facebook crops the top and bottom of your video, so be sure to position the video so it is centred, use your logo at the end of the video to make sure. Be sure to make your Browsebase video a cover video, but we also recommend you post to your timeline so you can share it with others and have it appear in their Facebook feed if they follow you., or boost and promote it!

If you are having trouble, visit the Facebook help page for advice.

Instagram

Sharing your video to Instagram is simple, but there are a few options. The easiest way is to share the video file as supplied to you for great results (HD 720p version is recommended). But you can also post a video specifically altered for the vertical Instagram platform. Please get in touch and we can quote to re-edit your video to a 4:5 aspect ratio at 864 pixels (width) by 1080 pixels to use the most screen real estate possible, and is specific to Instagram. This isn’t a requirement or even necessary, but a nice to have that will optimise the Instagram experience if required.

If you need help uploading to Instagram, we recommend first asking a teenager! :-) Failing that go to Instagram help for advice.

Google Business Page

Listing your business with Google ‘My Business’ is a great way to be easily found on Google by people looking for you and your services. Your Browsebase video is designed to be included on Google business listings and is ideal for people wanting to browse your business and be exposed to your brand.

Be sure to use the HD 720p file for best results on the Google Business platform.

If you need help uploading, visit My Business help for instructions and tips.

Add to your website

Front page of your website is the perfect place for a Browsebase video! It’s easy to embed your video from YouTube, Vimeo, Wistia etc or use your own system to incorporate your video and show your business in a visual way rather than rely on text and images.

If you need help including your Browsebase video on your website, contact your web design company or person that set up your website as they should be able to assist you.

YouTube & Vimeo

Publishing a video on YouTube, Vimeo or your video host of choice requires creating an account and uploading your Browsebase video using their online tools. We recommending the Original File download option as these sites often re-encode the video file for best results in their site. While both platforms let people search for your video on their site, it can be even more powerful when you share the hosted video or embed to your own website or social media platforms.

If you are unfamiliar with these sites and need help getting started, go to Google or Vimeo for help or consult your web designer.

Television Commercial

Your Browsebase video is produced to strict broadcast television standards (OP48 & OP59 Compliant) and is easily displayed on TV without any changes! If modifications to the content are required, ie edit to a 15 second duration, add a voiceover etc, please get in touch with us and we will quote for the work needed.

In order to run your commercial as is, just send the Original File download option to your TV station sales representative, have them get in touch with us, or contact Browsebase directly and we’ll help you get on the air.
